One of the things missing from all the DVDs so far are the inclusion of deleted scenes. Here is a list of known scenes to exist, that were filmed but cut during the editing stage. There are probably some more, but it’s hard to say given the lack of evidence and material available. If you have read about or seen any other deleted scenes, please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Airport 1
Before Korben caught up with David and Leeloo at the airport, he is meant to have a scene with 2 alien garbage collectors. There is a picture of the creatures shown in The Story of The Fifth Element (Page 60).

Airport 2
From the theatrical trailer and ‘Race’ TV spot, the police can be seen kneeling and firing in an organised fashion at the airport, most likely at the Mangalores. Here are some low quality screenshots.

Temple (End of film) 1
When Korben, Cornelius, Leeloo and Ruby arrived at the Temple in Egypt, there is a scene of them leaving the ZFX 200 ship. Cornelius would then meet with David (Source: The Story of The Fifth Element).

Temple (End of film) 2
Cornelius is trying to find the entrance to the Temple in the sand dunes. This scene was changed to have David already having found the entrance to keep the fast pace of the film going. Filming was done in both Makrouga and in the set at Pinewood Studios (Source: The Story of The Fifth Element).
